Hardwood Flooring
Hardwood species are frequently used to make hardwood flooring, also known as solid wood flooring. Popular species are cherry, walnut, oak, and maple. The term "solid flooring" refers to a piece of milled wood that is solid. Installing hardwood flooring needs some skill because it entails nailing the wood planks to the subfloor. Its solid wood means that maintaining its appearance over time can be accomplished with ease through multiple sandings and finishes.
The width of hardwood flooring boards varies, with widths ranging from 8 to 12 inches. Solid flooring typically has tighter seams between boards once it is put. For further customization, it comes in a variety of colors and species in both pre-finished and unfinished panels.

Solid hardwood requires less upkeep and cleaning. The majority of floors just require vacuuming and sweeping, with the rare stain-treating mopping with a specific wood cleaner. Just don't clean wood floors with steam or water.
Hardwood flooring, however, requires less upkeep over the long run because it can be sanded down and refinished multiple times to maintain its original appearance.
